Running Oume marathon course for preparation of Boston Marathon 2017

Wave and corral officialy annouced yesterday. 

Looks like I wll be starting in Wave1 with some friends also running Boston 2017.

The point is the elevation change. Hills comes towards to the end... hahaha.

According to this information, net change -140 meters.

 

For preparation

With the information above, I decided to run Oume marathon course which is the best place to practice in Tokyo to prepare for Boston. Up and down hills repeatedly continoues, total 500 meters total cumulative elevation gain in yesterday 35 Kilos run.

Currently planning to run 30Km three weeks prior to the patriot day 17th of April, 2017.

 

 

No relevant data from the past races which make me "waku-waku"

The data from Chicago, Tokyo, Beppu-oita or Kobe marathon does not really match to Boston as relevant data for the elevation change point of view.

 

Now I am really "waku-waku" meaning excited running Boston for the such a variant course wise and the crowd yelling out through out the 26.2 miles.
